Instructions

Step 1
1️⃣ Cut or tear the tofu into bite-sized pieces. Boil in salted water for 5 minutes to firm up the texture. Drain well.
Step 2
2️⃣ Mix all marinade/sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Step 3
3️⃣ Take 2 tbsp of the sauce and marinate the tofu. It soaks up the flavor in seconds.
Step 4
4️⃣ Toss the tofu in starch until evenly coated. Drizzle or spray lightly with oil.
Step 5
5️⃣ Airfry at 200°C (390°F) for 10 minutes until golden and crispy.
Step 6
6️⃣ Heat the remaining sauce in a pan. Stir until thick and glossy.
Step 7
7️⃣ Add the crispy tofu and toss to coat.
