1can corn
drained
1can black beans
drained and rinsed
1Can Dark Red Kidney Beans
drained and rinsed
1can garbanzo beans
drained and rinsed
1sweet bell pepper
diced small
½ cupfresh cilantro
chopped
Sauce
3limes
juice of
9 tablespoonsolive oil
3 tablespoonshoney
1 ½ teaspoonscumin
¾ teaspoongarlic powder
1 teaspoonpaprika
½ teaspoonmild chili powder
optional
1 teaspoonssalt
to taste
black pepper
to taste

Instructions
Step 1
Drain and rinse the black beans, kidney beans, and garbanzo beans well. Drain the corn.
Step 2
Add the beans, corn, bell pepper, red onion, and cilantro to a large mixing bowl.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, whisk together the lime juice, olive oil, honey, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder if using, salt, and black pepper.
Step 4
Pour the dressing over the bean mixture.
Step 5
Toss well until everything is evenly coated.
Step 6
Let the salad rest for 20 to 30 minutes before serving so the flavors can absorb.
Step 7
Taste before serving and adjust with more lime juice, salt, or honey if needed.
Step 8
Add avocado right before serving if using.
