Honey walnut chicken
This honey walnut chicken recipe is for my 3 sisters, they’ve been asking me forever to make it. The other day my sister Heliz texted the group and said I’ll just wait until the end of the year for that recipe and of course Adar and Heleen jumped in and gave their 2 cents 😂 I felt the pressure so I gave in 😂 here you go! ENJOY!!
——chicken——
-2 chicken breasts cut into thin slices
-1 cup of corn starch
-1 cup of carbonated water
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1/2 teaspoon black pepper
——Walnuts——
-1 cup of walnuts
-1 tablespoons unsalted butter
-1/2 cup of water
-1/2 cup of sugar

——Sauce——
-1/2 cup of mayonnaise
-2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
-2 tablespoons honey
-1/2 tablespoon lemon juice

1-walnuts——melt the butter add the walnuts toast for about a minute, then add in the sugar and water and let it boil for about 10 minutes. Remove and transfer it into a plate and let it cool down.
2-chicken—— sliced two chicken breast into thin strips then to the chicken add salt, black pepper, cornstarch and carbonated water and give it a good mix. Add oil to a pan let it get hot on high heat, fry the chicken for about 5 to 6 minutes or until crispy and golden and cooked through.
3-sauce—— for the sauce mixed together the mayonnaise, sweeten condensed milk, honey and lemon juice and give it a good mix.
4-once the chicken is all fried add the chicken and walnuts in with the sauce give it a good toss and enjoy it over some white rice.
