0.33 lb93% lean ground turkey

1 lbground pork

1 ½ cupsweet onion
chopped

shallot
finely chopped

2garlic cloves
smashed with salt & minced

2 tspapple cider vinegar

2.5 Tbsptomato paste

3 Tbspchili powder
1 x 6 ozcan mild diced chilies
or med
⅔ cfrozen pinto beans
home cooked

0.5sweet potato
cooked

1 x 28 ozcan whole tomatoes

1 x 14.5 ozcan low sodium diced tomatoes
Instructions
Step 1
Sautée onions & shallot on med heat in heavy pan with one spray of olive oil until almost translucent. Clear a spot in the middle of the pan for garlic & let crisp (adding another micro-spray of oil if pan is dry) for 10 seconds then top with meat, chopping into smallish pieces. Deglaze with ACV then stir in tomato paste & cook for 3-4 minutes while adding chicken & beef base, salt, chili powder, a few dashes of Cholula or Tapatio and the can of chilies. Now it’s time to add your beans, sweet potatoes & whole tomatoes. I let everything simmer for 20-30 mins on low before using a potato masher to smash it until you can’t see the potato and tomato is small chunky. Finish with a few cups of water, the other can of tomatoes and a rinsed can of kidney beans.
