Soak Dahl 12 hours min
Step 2
Add cumin seeds and cloves to large pot. Heat until fragrant
Step 3
Add garlic and ginger, and all other spices. Fry for 3mins on medium
Step 4
Add tomatoes and tomato paste for colour. Fry off for a few minutes
Step 5
Add Dahl and water. Let simmer for 30mins or until cooked
