¼ tspanise seeds
3black peppercorns
1whole clove
1 tspcocoa powder
¼ cupraisons
soaked in water to soften
4 cupschicken broth
¼ cupmasa
prepared
Instructions
Step 1
Take seeds out of chilies and boil in water until soft.
Step 2
Remove from water and set aside
Step 3
Saute onions in vegetable oil until soft. Do not brown onion
Step 4
In blender puree all ingredients except chicken broth and masa
Step 5
In large saucepan add chicken broth and all ingredients and masa and cover simmer for one hour stirring occasionally
