Instructions
Step 1
Place half the amount of lettuce onto a serving plate. Top with sliced tomato and onion; Set aside.
Step 2
Place a skillet over medium-high heat and melt butter.
Step 3
Shape ground beef into a patty and place an indent in the middle.
Step 4
Cook patty in hot pan and cook for 4 minutes per side or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the centre reads 160F.
Step 5
Place cheese on top of burger and cover skillet with lid to melt cheese.
Step 6
Transfer cooked patty on top of sliced onion, tomato and lettuce.
Step 7
Reheat pan to medium-low heat and crack egg into the pan.
Step 8
Cook until the tops of the whites are set but the yolk is still runny.
Step 9
Remove the pan from the heat and use a spatula to transfer egg to patty.
Step 10
Season with salt and pepper.
Step 11
Cook bacon to desired liking an place on top of egg.
Step 12
Add the remaining lettuce.
