Fish in Coconut Curry

Ingredients
2 servings
500 gmfish
deboned, cubed
½ cupoil
½ teaspoonfenugreek seeds
2 teaspoonsgarlic
chopped
½ cuponions
or shallots, sliced
2 teapoonsginger
chopped
3green chillies
slit
10curry leaves
½ teaspoonturmeric powder
½ teaspoonpeppercorns
crushed
salt
to taste
1 teaspoonflour
refined
½ cupcoconut milk
3 dropslime juice
1tomato
sliced
Instructions
Step 1
Heat oil, add fenugreek seeds, garlic, ginger, onion slices, curry leaves and green chillies. Saute for a while, then add crushed pepper, turmeric powder and 2 cups water. Bring to a boil.
Step 2
Add fish to the boiling gravy and cook on low heat till fish is done.
Step 3
Make a paste with flour and little water. Add to the fish.
Step 4
Add coconut milk to thicken.
Step 5
Finish with a little lime juice. Serve garnished with tomato slices.
