Ingredients
4 servings

8Brussels sprouts
halved

2 cupsmushrooms

4 cupsgreens
such as romaine, spinach, kale or chard

15 ouncecan no-salt-added black beans
or low sodium, drained

0.5onion
sliced

1green bell pepper
sliced

1 cuplow sodium salsa

⅓ cupsesame seeds
unhulled

turmeric

ground black pepper

1avocado
pitted and sliced, optional

2 cupsraspberries
Instructions
Step 1
Steam Brussels sprouts until tender, about 10 minutes. Lightly saute mushrooms using a small amout of water if needed to prevent sticking.
Step 2
Divide greens among 4 plates. Top with beans, onion, bell pepper, Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, salsa and sesame seeds. Season with turmeric and black pepper to taste. If desired add avocado slices.
Step 3
Serve with 1/2 cup of raspberries on the side of each plate.
