Ingredients

For Daal

1 cupTuvar Daal

1tomato
sliced

2dry red chillies

4cloves

4Black Peppers

4green cardamoms

2black cardamoms

¼ tspturmeric

1 tspred chilli powder

Salt
or Salt, to taste

1 tspdry coriander powder
dhania powder

1 cupGreen Coriander

1 spoonsGhee
For Tadka
Instructions
To make Daal
Step 1
-Wash Tuvar daal for 3-4 times using warm water.
-Soak Tuvar daal for 20-30 minutes
-Put the Tuvar daal in a pressure cooker and add all the i-ingredients with 3 cups of Water
-Close the pressure cooker lid, place the whistle and lets it cook at medium heat for 2 whistles, then turn off heat.
-Let the pressure cooker cool down.
- Open the pressure cooker and cook the daal for 1-2 minutes on low to medium heat, add water as needed.
- Add the fried onion in the daal
- Make the Tadka (check the Tadka Recipe)
- After adding Tadka, add 1 tsp lemon and green coriander
Apply Tadka on the Daal
Step 2
Take 2 Spoons of Ghee in a small heating vessel
Let the ghee heat up
Add Jeera, Garlic, Ginger, Dry Red Chillies, Green Chillies, Green coriander and Hing.
Let the mixture fry for 1-2 mins
Turn off heat and add Red chilli powder
Pour this mixture in the Daal
