Instructions
Step 1
crush then mash chickpeas using the bottom of a bowl.
Step 2
dice the red onion, then grate the zest off the lemon.
Step 3
In a bowl, combine the chickpeas, onion, lemon (zest AND juice) and 3/4 of breadcrumbs.
Step 4
Shape into a patty and dust lightly with flour.
Step 5
add remaining breadcrumbs to the sides of the patty.
Step 6
Oil the pan and fry for 4 minutes on each side, use medium heat.
Step 7
slice the bun in half and lightly toast on using the remaining oil on the pan. remove once golden brown.
Step 8
Spread Aioli on top and bottom bun.
Step 9
assemble burger carefully.
