This was amazing and not at all spicy. Even my one year old son who is sick ate his whole bowl

I swapped the potato for cauliflower. Also managed to get the mildest jalapeños alive so it wasn’t as exciting as hoped. Will make again and make sure I get some jalapeños with some kick

Delicious, I did bliz the potatoes mixture before i added the sweetcorn and other items to thicken it up. It turned out great

This soup will not disappoint! It is absolutely delicious!

Delicious. This is a hearty, dinner time soup rather than a light lunchtime one. It’s filled with ingredients, and was very much enjoyed by the entire family. The only change I made was to cook the bacon and chicken together at the beginning, and then use the leftover fat for cooking the peppers and onions. It meant I didn’t have to add much in the way of salt, and helped add a distinct smoky flavour to the soup. No, it’s not a “healthy” soup, but you can easily switch out the cream for milk and possibly even cut out some of the cheese BUT, as it is written, it’s a filling soup that doesn’t really need a second helping, and is warming for those colder evenings. The jalapeños added a small amount of kick, though not as much as you might expect. I’m a spice wimp, and found it delicious, but if you prefer a kick, keep the ribs and seeds of one or two of your peppers, or opt for hot peppers instead.

Worth making, nothing special though

Add Serrano peppers for added heat and we didn’t have jalapeño poppers but we added fresh jalapeños and it came out delicious! Definitely perfect for a chilly day

Next time I'll add more jalapeno. I was shocked it wasn't as spicy as I thought. More flavorful jalapeno taste than spice. Or instead of adding more jalepeno I may add some green chili's at the end for more kick.

It's alright, but I'd do a few things different next time. It'd be a good base to green chili this fall!
