Instructions

For the Fish

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Step 2
On a lightly greased baking sheet, place few slices of lemon, put the fish on top of the lemon slices, rob it with the chili paste to coat (both sides of the individual fillet) or both the outside and the cavity of the whole fish with stuffing the lemons slices inside.
Step 3
Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and chili, cook for roughly 20 to 25 minutes, remove from the oven and allow to rest.

For the Sauce

Step 4
Over medium heat, in a large saucepan, add olive oil, sliced onion. Sauté the onion till golden brown.
Step 5
Add the garlic, tomato & mix them well, add bell pepper, red and green jalapeño and sauté until softened, 5-8 minutes, then add all of your spices.
Step 6
Lower the heat to low, add the lemon juice, whisking for couple of minutes, then add your onion garlic jalapeño mixture, then add the chopped cilantro leaves, give it a quick mix, cover & cook for 10 minutes or until it turns chunky sauce, set aside and keep warm.
Step 7
In a large serving platter, pour half of the sauce and place the baked fish on top of it, then pour the rest of the sauce to cover the fish.
Step 8
Top the plate with your fresh herbs and toasted pine nuts and serve.
