Instructions
Step 1
Blend big onion, shallots, lemongrass, garlic and ginger.

Step 2
Blend dried chilli, fresh chilli and dried shrimp until smooth.

Step 3
Add 1 cup of oil in wok. Add in blended onion and chilli paste. Cook on low heat till it oozes oil.
Step 4
Add sugar, salt, sliced big onion and water. Stir and cook for another 10 minutes.

Deep fry 100g of peanuts(until dark brown) and 100g of anchovies(until golden brown). (Wash the anchovies, pat dry with kitchen towel and leave in the fridge to dry before frying).
