Navy Bean Piyaz
4 steps
Prep:10minCook:10min
This is something you probably haven't seen at your typical summer BBQ - but once you bring this baby out, I guarantee it will be a hit with your guests. It's refreshing yet filling, and full of protein and fiber! This is my take on the Turkish Piyaz, adding a little extra spice and flare.

Instructions
Step 1
If you're using uncooked navy beans, start by soaking and cooking the beans according to the instructions on your bag. This process takes a few hours, so get a head start. If you're using canned beans, move on to step 2!
Step 2
Start by making the dressing. In your serving bowl, add the minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, paprika, za'atar, salt, pepper, lemon, and olive oil. Mix together.
Step 3
Halve and slice your tomatoes and red onion. Add it to the serving bowl along with the cooked navy beans.
Step 4
Chop your mint, parsley, and walnuts and add it on top. Mix so that the dressing evenly coats the dish.
