Vermicelli recipe without tomatoes

Ingredients

2 tablespoonsVegetableOil
1Red Onion
large, minced
1 teaspoonGinger paste
or minced
2 teaspoonsgarlic paste
or minced
500ggizzards
chopped
2carrots
large chopped
1 ½ cupsgreen peas
black pepper
to taste
salt
to taste
chilli powder
optional, to taste
½ teaspooncumin
½ teaspoonpaprika
1 ½ cupschicken broth
vermicelli
1 teaspoonoyster sauce
1 teaspoonsugar
1 teaspoonrice vinegar
1 teaspoondried parsley
Instructions
Step 1
Heat the vegetable oil
Step 2
Add in the red onions and cook until soft
Step 3
Add oyster sauce and sugar
Step 4
Add in the gizzards and cook for about a minute
Step 5
Add the minced ginger and garlic and cook until fragrant
Step 6
Add in the green peas and carrots and cook for about a minute
Step 7
Add the spices
Step 8
Add chicken broth (or water) and bring to a boil
Step 9
Add vermicelli and cook till soft. Ensure it doesn't turn mushy.
Step 10
Add vinegar and parsley and turn off heat.
