As my South Indian House Help said it’s her comfort food and I can say now too that this is Truly comforting and takes hardly any time to make !!
Oil 3 tbsp
Methi 1/4 tsp
coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Tomato 6
Garlic 8-9
Tamarind ball 1 small seedless
Green chilli 2-3
Coriander leaves with stem -1 cup
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Cook for 3-4 minutes in high flame, lower the flame and cook again for another 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Let it cool and blend to puree
Tempering
Oil 1 tbsp
Hing 1/8 tsp
Curry leaves 1 sprig
chana dal 1 tsp
Urad dal 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri dry red chili 5
