Wanted something fresh and healthy so treated myself to Fattoush salad! It’s citrusy, herbaceous, minty, and filling. Everything you need for a great side dish to kebabs, chicken, salmon , etc

Ingredients
4 servings
1 iceberg lettuce

1red onion

1bell pepper
optional

0.5Serrano pepper
optional

2 sprigsmint

1parsley

1tomato

1english cucumber

artichoke hearts
Dressing

3 tablespoonlemon juice
fresh is best

2 tablespoonolive oil

1 Tspsumac
optional

1 Tsppepper

salt

1 tablespoondried mint

1 Tsponion

garlic powder

Instructions
Step 1

Chop all the ingredients for the salad (you don’t have to use all the ingredients listed or you can freestyle without any veggies you have)
Step 2

Add in all dressing ingredients to mason jar and shake
Pita bread topping
Step 3

Cut 3 slices of pita bread into small squares
Step 4

Heat up vegetable oil in small pot until hot
Step 5

Slowly add in pita squares until golden brown
Final
Step 6
Add in the toppings, dressing, and mix! Enjoy!
