For the Dahl
Instructions
Step 1
Heat oil and add onions. Saute for 2-3 minutes
Step 2
Add garlic and ginger. Saute for 1 minute.
Step 3
Add spices. Saute until they unfold.
Step 4
Rinse lentils under cold water. Add to pan and stir
Step 5
Pour in vegetable broth. Bring to simmer. Cook for 8-10 minutes.
Step 6
Add coconut milk and strained tomatoes. Simmer another 10 minutes until lentils are tender.
Step 7
Add citrus juices, salt, pepper, sugar etc.
