28 ozcrushed tomatoes

2 x 15 oztomato sauce

1 tspdried basil

1 tspdried oregano

2 tspitalian seasoning

1 ½ tspsalt

½ tspblack pepper

Instructions
Step 1
Step 1: cook beef, Italian sausage, chopped onion, minced garlic & 1-2 tsp oil on medium heat for 10 mins.

Step 2: add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, dried basil, dried oregano, Italian seasoning, 1 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper. Cook 10 mins.

Step 3: make ricotta filling. In a bowl mix Ricotta cheese with 2 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, eggs, chopped parsley, 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper.

Step 4: boil lasagna pasta per package instructions. Drain water and rinse under cold water. Drain and set aside.

Step 5: spray the inside of a deep 9x13 baking dish with nonstick spray. Add 1 1/2 cups meat sauce to the bottom of the dish, and cover with four cooked lasagna sheets. Next, spread 2 cups meat sauce on noodles, add 1/3 portion of the ricotta mixture, and evenly spread. Add another layer of 4 lasagna sheets, and repeat the process (Meat sauce, ricotta mixture, pasta, meat sauce, ricotta, pasta). finally, add the last of the meat sauce and spread evenly.

Step 6: sprinkle lasagna with 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Spray the inside of foil with nonstick spray and cover the lasagna. Bake at 375° F for 45 minutes. Remove foil bake for another 15-20 minutes. Then broil on high for 3-5 mins or until golden brown on top.

Step 7: cool for 15 minutes before cutting into it. Garnish with parsley and serve with a side salad
