Everyday cleansing green soup is a warm alternative to cold green juice. Green vegetables always contain as stringent and bitter tastes. This soup is indicated anytime you need a break from heavy foods, every food, want to lose some weight, or desire a lift for your digestion or mood.

Ingredients
4 servings
3 cupsvegetable broth
1 tspturmeric powder
1 "fresh Ginger root
piece
1 cupkale
packed chopped
4 cupsSwiss chard
packed chopped
1 cupparsley leaves
packed, no stems
2 tspghee
salt
to taste
pepper
to taste
Fall alternate veggies

Instructions
Step 1
In a 2 qt saucepan, combine combine the vegetable broth and turmeric powder and bring to boil on high heat.
Step 2
Peel and coarsely chopped the Ginger root and add to the pot.
Step 3
Cover and simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes
Step 4
Stir in the parsley and oil
Step 5
Remove from heat and blend soup
Step 6
Enjoy this soup topped with toasted sunflower seeds
