Instructions
Step 1
Bring 8 cups of water with salt to a boil, then add pasta of choice and cook according to package instructions.
Step 2
In a saucepan, add butter and garlic and onion until fragrant (if using garlic powder and onion powder instead, you can add them with all the spices).
Step 3
Add flour and mix in, then add milk and pasta water and stir, allow to boil and thicken.
Step 4
Add all the spices as it boils and cream cheese, mix consistently until cream cheese melts.
Step 5
Add shredded cheddar cheese one cup at a time and mix it in.
Step 6
Strain water from pasta and return to pot. Add cheese over the pasta and mix well.
Step 7
If pasta pot is not oven safe, transfer pasta and sauce into oven safe dish. Top it with parmesan and cheddar cheese and broil it in the oven for 5-8 minutes.
