I'm usually not super obsessed with tempeh, the only time I've ever been fully obsessed is when I've been in Bali! The tempeh in Bali is just so good because its cooked properly.

Instructions
Step 1
Bring a large pan to medium heat with the oil, add the tempeh and peanuts and fry until golden and crispy then transfer to some paper towel to absorb the excess oil
Step 2
Bring the pan to medium heat again with a small amount of oil if needed and sauté the shallots, chilli, lime leaf, curry leaf, ginger and garlic for 5 minutes
Step 3
Add the tempeh and peanuts back to the pan along with the sweet soy sauce, soy sauce and brown sugar. Gently mix and sauté for a few minutes
Step 4
Transfer to a bowl and serve with rice or your other favourite Indonesian dishes ❤️🌱
