Step 1
Prepare macaroni and cheese according to the package.
Step 2
On the side, prepare vegetables of choice. If canned, drain and rinse. If fresh, wash and cut into bite sized pieces as necessary. If frozen, portion the amount desired. Boil or steam the vegetables until cooked (soft, yet not mushy for fresh vegetables. Hot for canned and frozen vegetables which have already been cooked).
Step 3
Drain cooked vegetables.
Step 4
Mix cooked vegetables into prepared macaroni and cheese.
