Step 1
Wash rice a few times then add to a pot with bashed cardamom pods torn kefir leaves zest of a lime coconut milk salt pepper turmeric honey and water . Stir everything together then bring to a boil

Step 2
Lower the heat to low cover with a lid and cook for 15 minutes . Once cooked let the rice rest a few minutes then fluff with a fork
Step 3
To serve heat 1/2 cup of any neutral high smoke point oil then pour it over chopped scallions and garlic . Once they have become golden and crispy strain then serve over the rice make sure they don’t burn as it will taste bitter . You can use the flavored oil to serve on other dishes . Enjoy
