1 blockfirm tofu
pressed
1 packagesoyrizo
1 packagemushrooms
chopped
0.5onion
chopped
1bell pepper
chopped
1juice of lime
1 teaspoongarlic powder
1 teaspoonchili powder
½ teaspoonturmeric powder
½ teaspoonpaprika
½ teaspooncumin
½ teaspoonkala namak
to taste
2 tablespoonswater
fresh ground black pepper
to taste
oil
or water for sautéing
Instructions
Step 1
Drain and press tofu for 5-10 minutes.
Step 2
In a small bowl, stir together spices and water.
Step 3
Sauté veggies separately on medium heat. Start with onion, then mushrooms, then peppers. Sprinkle in a few dashes of any umami seasoning.
Step 4
Take out veggies from pan. Set aside.
Step 5
Crumble in tofu. Add seasoning/liquid blend. Sauté 5 minutes.
Step 6
Add soyrizo crumbles and veggies back into pan. Sauté 5 more minutes.
Step 7
Serve in a warmed tortilla, with air fried potatoes, with chopped cilantro, green onions, over spinach, with some beans. The possibilities are endless!
