Instructions

Step 1
Add oil to the pan with bay leaf, chillies, cardamoms and cloves. Let it infuse for a few minutes on low heat
Step 2
Add red onions (finely chopped) with salt and let saute for 5 minutes
Step 3
Add ginger and then after a minute add in garlic
Step 4
After a couple of minutes add chicken pieces
Step 5
Add turmeric, Kashmiri red chilli powder and coriander powder and leave to cook for another 5 minutes
Step 6
Add chopped tomatoes and 1 cup water. Cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally
Step 7
Add garam masala, kasoori methi and coconut milk and cook for another 8 minutes
Step 8
Before serving, garnish with coriander and remove bay leaves and chillies
