No Bean Chili Con Carne
Made it first with ground chicken for 4-6, but you don’t want to double all of the spices!

Ingredients
6 servings

2 lbextra lean ground beef
grass-fed if possible

1red onions
large, chopped

1.5green bell peppers
chopped

2 cansChili

8 ozcan tomato sauce

1 cupbroth
or water, omit and don’t drain chili tomatoes, used 1/2 cup water

6garlic cloves
minced

2 tbspschili powder

1 Tbspcumin

1 tspgarlic powder

1 tsponion powder

⅛ tspcayenne
optional

sea salt

pepper
to taste

1 Tbspcoconut oil
Instructions
Step 1
Heat coconut oil in a soup pot over medium-high heat and add onions and bell pepper. Better to do this step in a large fry pan if doubling the recipe.
Step 2
Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Add ground meat and fresh garlic and cook until slightly browned, about 5-6 minutes.
Step 4
Add tomato sauce, tomato purée and broth ( I used water instead). And add all spices. Bring everything to a boil and then lower to a simmer.
Step 5
Simmer for an hour (on 4) and serve. It freezes well and makes excellent leftovers.
Step 6
Serving size is 1 cup.
