Hearty oats breakfast that can be modified to suit what you have. For instance, I list raisins and Craisins in the recipe - I usually use 2Tbsp of one or the other, not mixed. The honey/maple syrup can one or both for the total amount of 1.5 Tbsp. Same with the peanuts and almonds, I usually use 2Tbsp of one or the other. You can also increase the oats and water if you want more oatmeal. You can also use your preferred protein powder.

Instructions

Step 1
Add everything except butter, half and half, whey and nuts to pot. Cook until oats done. Grind or chop nuts. Add half and half and butter to pot and mix. Pour oats into bowl and mix in whey and nuts.
