1 cupdry white wheat pearl couscous
1 tspturmeric
½ tspblack pepper
1 tspolive oil
0.25 headred cabbage
shredded
1 tsplemon juice
¼ cupraisins
4carrots
shredded
1cucumber
diced
3 cupschickpeas
cooked
¼ cupmint leaves
chopped
¼ cupfresh dill
chopped
¼ cupalmonds
crushed
2 Tbspharissa paste
¼ cupsunflower seeds
soaked and drained
2 Tbsphemp seeds
½ cupcitrus juice
I used 1 lemon and 1/2 a grapefruit
1 ½ Tbspmaple syrup

Instructions
Step 1
Start by cooking the couscous according to the packet instructions. While it's cooking, add the turmeric, olive oil, and black pepper to the boiling water for enhanced flavor and health benefits.
Step 2
Add 1 tsp of lemon juice to the shredded red cabbage. Massage the cabbage with your hands to soften it and enhance its flavor.
Step 3
Prepare the creamy harissa dressing by blending all the dressing ingredients until smooth. This will be the base flavor of your salad.
Step 4
