Ingredients

Tofu Maraniade
2 blockstofu
1 cupplain non-dairy yogurt
1 ½ Tbsgarlic
1 Tbsginger
1 tspturmeric
1 tspcumin
1 tspred chili
1 tspsalt
½ Tbslemon juice
For the Sauce
2 Tbsoil
2 Tbsnon-dairy butter
1onion

1 ½ Tbsgarlic
1 Tbsginger
2 tspsgaram masala
14 oztomato paste
1 tspred chili
1 Tbssalt
1 ¼ cupnon-dairy cream
1 Tbsbrown sugar
¼ cupwater
as needed

Instructions
Step 1
Break tofu into medium size pieces
Step 2
Add marinade ingredients to zip lock bag with tofu
Step 3
Refrigerate for few hours or overnight
Step 4
Heat oil in large pan and add tofu for 3 minutes
Step 5
Remove tofu
Step 6
Add the butter in the same pan, toss the seasonings in also
Step 7
Add tomato paste with a bit of water to partially separate the mixture.
Step 8
Remove and blend mixture until smooth
Step 9
Pour mixture back into pan and add tofu
Step 10
Mix in non-dairy cream. Taste and add additional seasonings
Step 11
Stir and simmer for 30 minutes on low/medium heat.
Step 12
Serve and enjoy!
