Low cost plant-based recipes – HealthyBrum
A plant-based diet is based on foods derived from plants, including vegetables, fruit, grains, beans, nuts, seeds, with few or no animal products. There are many reasons why people choose to follow a plant-based diet. We want to show you in this category that plant based diets don’t have to be expensive. When following a plant based diet it is important to understand what a healthy balanced plant based diet looks like and plan ahead to ensure your diet is full of the essential nutrients. By avoiding or minimising your consumption of animal products there are some nutrients you must pay particular attention to such as calcium, iron, vitamin B12 , vitamin D and omega-3 fatty acids.
